Our inaugural program began in early 2022 as a rapid-fire
3-month hybrid mix of an incubator, accelerator and VC model. The program quickly evolved to support high-impact early-stage startup founders and future leaders on idea validation, product development/MVP, Go-To-Market strategy, customer acquisition, traction and funding.
Noir Diaspora takes no equity in funded startups.
Redefining the Way
Tech Funding in Africa Moves
Our approach is a hybrid mix of an incubator, accelerator and VC model. Our approach is to tackle the challenges that arise from traditional Afro-centric incubator and accelerator models by providing a la carte programs and initiatives that are tailored to specific founders' problems in real time via a rapid-fire virtual process. We are poised to continually organize resources for founders by creating and building access to strategic partnerships within the community and beyond.
Our Journey So Far
THE POWER OF REAL-TIME CONNECTION
Gathering online, an initial cohort of tech savvy founders began to hold weekly discussions evaluating the progress week-by-week for the African Startup scene.
Our weekly discussions evolve into interactive sessions where founders gather together to validate their ideas, collaborate on product and either launch their MVP or scale their Go-To-Market startups in cross markets.
