Organizing your Data Room is simple.

- You may have it stored as an extension or private page on your platform or website, or use popular free tools like Google Drive or Dropbox.

- Encrypt or apply read-only rights to the documents to ensure that they aren't duplicated or downloadable.

In the same way we advise having different versions of a pitch deck and pitch process for investors versus partnerships, we advise you to have two different data rooms:

1/ one for investors who are potentially ready to invest in your round

2/ another for investors who are still on the fence about investing and simply contains your pitch deck, business structure and financial models - nothing proprietary

Compile your documents depending on the geographical jurisdiction that you are based in and operating from, as well as round raising. For example, the SAFE as a fundraising instrument is standard, but may be recognized in different forms in your home country.
